Spring Fayre 2019 :
The Friends of Park Lane Primary School Association is a group of parents, carers and staff who dedicate their free time and energy to help, plan, organise and run events to raise money for the school throughout the year. The money raised goes directly into enriching our children's education with equipment, workshops and subsidising school trips. All funds raised are used to enhance the social and educational aspects of the whole school.
Any Parent or Carer can join the Friends of Park Lane Primary School Association and joining could not be easier. Just go to our Facebook group page, request to join the group - providing your child's name and class (for verification purposes).
Recent raised funds allocated to the school for specific activities include :
- An amazing Blast Science Week,
- An incredible Arts Week
- Sports Equipment, including new Football goal posts
- Play Cabins for the Playground
- Literacy shed
- Magazine subscriptions
- Music stands
- Kindle readers
- and brand new Math's equipment

- School Discos
- Cake Sales
- Summer Ice Cream sales
- Party Box Hire
- School Uniform Shop
The Friends manage the selling of school uniform clothing items, all with the school logo. From September 2019, school uniform items can be purchased online at this website: https://shop.parklaneprimary.school. Orders placed can be collected from Tuesday after school.
All our events are organised and run by volunteer parents, carers and teachers. We rely on lots of parents getting involved helping out in whatever way they can, as well as generous corporate sponsorships or donations.
You can help by being a member of the committee, running a stall at the Christmas Bazaar, doing our electrical testing, or anything else you can think of. We appreciate any time, energy and skills you can bring.
We meet at regular intervals throughout the year, with an AGM in September/October of each year. Our regular meetings are normally held at the Infants site (in the evening), and are advertised in advance. Anyone can come along - new faces are always welcome!
